How Commissions Work

1. Tell us what you have in mind — share the type of piece, intended use, preferred size, and any inspiration or requirements.
2. Discuss available options — current leather, colour, thread, and finishing options will be shared based on what is available in the workshop.
3. Receive a quote — a quotation will be provided based on materials, customization, complexity, and production time.
4. Confirm the order — once the design and quote are approved, payment or deposit will be arranged.
5. The piece is made — your commission is handcrafted from start to finish.
6. Delivery — once complete, your piece is packaged and shipped.

To start a commission, get in touch with your name, what you'd like made, its intended use, and any leather, colour, or personalization preferences you already have in mind.

Every Hera Jewellery Roll is made individually and prepared specifically for your order.

Once you choose your preferred leather and thread combination, your piece is cut, stitched and finished by hand. As each piece is made from an individual hide, availability can change, and certain leather options may not always be available.

The process

1. Choose your leather
Select from the hides and colours currently available.

2. Place your commission
Your order is confirmed and your piece is added to the making queue.

3. We make your piece
Your jewellery roll is cut, punched, saddle stitched and finished by hand.

4. We send it on its way
Once complete, your piece is carefully packaged and shipped to you.

Lead time & shipping

Because every piece is made by hand, please allow time for your jewellery roll to be made before dispatch. Estimated lead times and shipping options will be confirmed when your commission is placed.
